Weclome to Highland Skating Club

Highland Skating Club is a community of skaters of all ages and abilities, coaches, and families who share the love of figure skating and the desire to further all aspects of the sport. By joining HSC, you will become a part of a healthy and supportive environment where respect and collaboration are fostered among skaters, families, and coaches.  On the competitive side, we are a grassroots to championship club.  The coaching staff is top-notch.  Please check out our "Pro-Corner" if you are interested in taking private lessons recreationly or competitively.

What's New?

We are please to announce that our club will be receiving the 2011-12 "Plus 10" award at this year's US Figure Skating Governing Council for registering 10 or more introductory members this past season. Our club will also be recognized in the June-July issue of SKATING magazine.  A big thanks to all of you for your continued support. 

Also, thanks to all of you who participated and volunteered for Blades on Ice.  The competition ran smoothly.  We simply could not have done it without your volunteer work.

Upcoming Events/Deadlines

• The next test session is Tuesday, May 29th, 2012.  Download Test Form and Test Dates
• Annual Meeting is Saturday, May 19th from 5:00 pm to 6:45.  It will be a potluck event.  More information will be sent to all members.

Join Us For Club Ice Time!

Club ice sessions are every Tuesday night from 6:30 to 7:45 pm at Highland Ice Arena except during test sessions. This is an open freestyle for club members of all levels. Admission is $8 for a full session and $4 for ½ session.
